Shekaina Christian Academy in Miunde, Kerowagi District, celebrated the launch of its new library on March 26, 2025. The facility will provide vital learning resources for children in Ward 5, particularly the Mugwagku clan. Funded with K35,000 from the Kerowagi District Development Authority (KDDA), the school follows the American-based Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) program, ensuring quality education for all students.
Director Anna Diu, a former nurse, founded the school to serve her community. “Education is the foundation of development,” she said, thanking local leaders for their support. She also called for donations of furniture and appliances to further improve the school. District Administrator Philip Bomal and MP Francis Kikin Siune praised the initiative, with Siune highlighting the importance of patience in nation-building.
The new library marks a major milestone for the school and Kerowagi. With plans for a teacher training center and district-wide expansion, Shekaina Christian Academy is paving the way for brighter futures through education.
