Kerowagi MP Francis Siune Kikin said, the money would be used for church mobilization for any operation they may have to run next year.
He said any Government funding for the district have stringent policies and guidelines attached to them, strict compliances are to be closely followed at the implementation stages.
MP Kikin said upon the successes of the implementation of the first allocation (K200, 000.00) the District Development Authority (DDA) may decide for further assistance or not.
“The financial support will not be used for church infrastructures like church buildings and Pastor’s houses, these responsibilities of building infrastructures will before church congregation members,” he said.
He said any church programs that needed funding must firstly be submitted to KDDA to deliberate on before they can decide their genuinely before funding can be release or not.
